Oklahoma 2008 Aerospace Summit and Expo was the place where all the aerospace enthusiasts could gather and find out some of the most recent and important developments in the industry. The summit had featured hosts that would have had strong connections to the industry and some of them were well known military or aerospace professionals. Few of the speakers included Major General Loren Reno, Richard P. Rush, Dr. Terry Britton and Mike Monroney.

Major General Loren Reno was a commander in Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center. His career in the industry started in 1974 when he graduated the Officer Training School. Also in 1974 he graduated navigator training and he had been assigned for flying operations, training and logistics. His staff tours included duty at the Headquarters Military Airlift and Air Mobility Commands as well as the Air Staff, the Secretary of the Air Force office legislative Liaison and the Defense Logistics Agency. General Reno had been in charge with commanding two aircraft maintenance squadrons, a technical training group and centers of the Defense Fuel Supply and defense Energy Support Centers. In 1975 he had flew four missions in South Vietnam.

Richard P. Rush was the president and CEO of the State Chamber, Oklahoma’s Association of Business and Industry ever since 1986. His office was appreciated for representing Oklahoma businesses at the State and federal levels. Prior to being appointed in Oklahoma, he was regional manager of the United States Chamber of Commerce Southwestern Regional Office with the headquarters in Dallas for about 6 years. For other 4 years he worked at the California State Chamber of Commerce as a specialist in developing and implementing a Legislative Action program for Small Business.

Oklahoma 2008 aerospace summit and expo had as speakers some of the most competent and widely recognized individuals from the industry. So this was the chance of the enthusiasts to get to meet some of the professionals who made a change in the industry.
